Rice Pudding

Ingredients

120g boiled rice: 45p
800ml milk: £1
200ml water
4 tablespoons sugar: 69p
Any frozen/fresh/tinned fruit: £1


Total cost using supermarket’s own brand products: £3.15

Cost per person: 80p

Method:

1. Put the boiled rice, milk, and 200ml of water, and sugar into a pan.
2. Mix this.
3. Cook for around 45 minutes on low heat, stirring regularly (or until looks thick and creamy).
4. Add an extra splash of milk before serving, if needed.
5. Add any frozen/fresh/tinned fruit of your choice.
