Cornflake/Rice Krispie Cakes

Ingredients

60g of butter: £1.18
100g of milk chocolate: 45p
90g of Rice Krispies of Cornflakes: 39–89p


Total cost using supermarket’s own brand products: £2.53

Method:

1. Melt the chocolate in the microwave (mix every 2- seconds).
2. Add the butter to the melted chocolate.
3. Stir until the butter melts.
4. Add the Rice Krispies/ Cornflakes and stir in to the chocolate mix.
5. Spoon in to cases or a container.
6. Leave to cool.
